Re-Creating our Campfires
by
Pearl Wymarra

I am committed to work in collaboration with all peoples from all walks of life. In the process of this work, the priority is to establish and firm up relationships based on mutual recognition and acknowledgement of our differences of race, of religion, of creed. This process, if followed and acted upon, will lead to mutual respect of the boundaries, mutual trust of one another and mutual true love for one another.
From time in memoriam, we have been dysfunctional peoples within the family of countries that make up our world.
The time is right for us to re-create our campfires. God is giving us, yet again, another chance to do this.
Let us not waste this precious time. Let us un-earth the treasures, these treasures are all of us. We are all there in the tangled mess. Let us walk and work beside each other as we untangle the mess.
God's Alarm is sounding, the Call has come, listen with Alertness for the commands, Act with Love as we Act for that Peace that passes all understanding.
As we re-create the campfires, we must motivate and encourage one another to;

  • contribute our individual gifts and talents
  • think of ways to spiritually re-build our communities
  • create an environment that helps us re-discover our relationship with God
  • share our cries from the heart in an environment where we feel safe and at home
  • to listen and learn from one another
  • to be more compassionate
  • understand and acknowledge with respect the important role and place of our elders
  • understand and acknowledge with respect the important role and place of our youth, teenagers and younger children.
  • be positive role models for each other
  • reflect on and evaluate our lives
  • support and strengthen each other's faith in God
  • focus on positive experiences of our lives, past and present and understand, acknowledge and forgive the pain as well as the people and circumstances that caused it.
  • practise detaching with love.
  • sing the songs of faith, hope and love
  • dance the dances of grace
  • create the pictures of the places of peace
  • Trust and Obey God who is; Our Creator, Our Father, Our Mother, Our Brother,Our Sister,Our True Friend
